Mozilla Firebird - Compare Features

This is a reformulated version of this document. Comparisons are always biased, and this shows how choice of 'feature' and a judicious intepretation can alter the outcome greatly. Objectivity and feature tables do not co-exist happily I feel...

Notes

  1. Opera uses auto-install INI files and drag'n'drop for extensive changing of UI functions, which can be considered pseudo-extensions. But browser features cannot be changed.
  2. Requires purchasing to remove adverts.
  3. Microsoft has announced that Internet Explorer updates will no longer be released independently from its Windows operating system, thus it is inferred that the next major release of Internet Explorer will be coupled with Longhorn, due in 2005.
